Abstract: The article continues the series of publications focused on the reassessment of the controversial Hokan hypothesis. In this paper, the traditional comparative method is applied to the reflexes of Proto-Hokan obstruents and glottal stop. The obtained results are compared to Terrence Kaufman's (1989) reconstruction of Proto-Hokan.
